Anna Parkman

Anna Parkman has a bachelor degree in Public Relations from the University in St. Petersburg Russia. But she was always fascinated by psychology.

At the age of 7 she suffered from Psychological trauma caused by her parents divorce and fights between them. Trying to heal her traumas, at the age of 9 she started to read psychological books in a school’s library and read anything she could get her hands on.

Back then all she could find was fundamental texts, so her first knowledge of the field was through Sigmund Freud and Karl Jung. In her late 30’s, facing a traumatic experience in her personal relationship, she came back to study psychology just like in her childhood, digging and looking for answers and healing. Then she decided to get a degree in psychology.

Now Anna is a trained, Internationally recognized, psychologist. Anna Parkman is an academic expert and author in the subject matter of childhood trauma. Anna has a “Psychological counseling“ diploma from academy of psychology and coaching in Moscow. Some of the numerous areas of psychology she has studied includes: EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and trauma reprocessing ), PTSD Post traumatic stress disorder, Cognitive behavioral therapy, gestalt therapy, child psychology, quantum psychology, Counseling psychology, integral therapy, family systematic constellations, personality disorders, psychosomatics, body oriented therapy and meditation, art therapy, sand therapy, conflictology, metaphorical cards, scheme therapy, emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, gestalt therapy, child psychology, emotional focused therapy, assess bars, metaphorical associative cards, and fairy tale therapy.

Anna is certified as a master practitioner of NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and as a life coach and health coach. She also was certified as a life coach by Tony Robbins-Madanes training. In her work she is combining the best tools from all the methods learned, creating her own,unique methodology. “When you are well versed in one modality of psychology, your effectiveness and tools are severely limited. Also, there can be no understanding of all the causes of problems in people’s lives. If there is no complete, broad and deep understanding of what influences the events and the psychological state of a person in the aggregate, there is no way to work out all the influencing factors. As a health coach she has the understanding of biochemical processes in the body and knowledge as a nutritionist and greatly enriched understanding of what affects what. Since Anna loves to learn and endlessly studies new methods, her toolkit is constantly enriched. 

Following many years of her studies in different modalities of psychology, Parkman became aware of how childhood trauma is affecting many people’s lives everyday, in all areas. So she focused her attention on the subject. Her wide and deep studies have allowed Parkman to discover the most effective methods and tools of traumatic experience consequences healing. In her unique methodology, Parkman uses a combination of the most effective methods she has found. Anna Parkman considers it her mission to help the maximum number of people to be able to cope with emotions and grave consequences of childhood traumas, to improve their lives to the best possible in all areas.

Biography

Anna Parkman was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia on May 30th of 1980 and spent her entire childhood there. When Anna was 4 years old, she started music school to study piano. Later, the commission of the teachers of the school at the NEP was recognized as the best in the field. Like every student of a recognized music school in Russia, Anna spent her childhood in the Philharmonic and the St. Petersburg Chapel, and of course Mariinensky Opera and Ballet Theater. Love for the opera and ballet with Anna remained forever.

At just 7-years-old, Parkman’s parents divorced; it was the moment she knew her life was going to change forever. Pain and suffering filled her heart at such a young age because of fights between 2 parts of the family, her mother and her father. Two years later, she began to show interest in psychology…
